Our night out started with a leisurely ride into Charlotte, North Carolina. The restaurant is located outside the center of the city in South Park part of town. It has valet parking or a large parking complex if you want to self-park your car.
You walk in and am greeted warmly by smiling hostesses. The atmosphere is dim and full of wood, like an upscale restaurant should be. We were seated at a table with an ample amount of room.
Our waitress greeted my husband and I and asked which type of water we would like. We had Pellegrino sparkling water, so fancy. The menu was explained to us in detail, which was appreciated because at first glance I missed what I ultimately ordered.
The menu consisted of a la cart items or predefined items. We picked the predefined meal which consisted of Caesar salad, 11-ounce fillet, spring vegetables, and blueberry crumble cheesecake for dessert. There are many combinations not just steak. The meal was wonderful. The wine was great and the staff attentive.
If you are going to a nice restaurant for a special meal, price is no object. This meal set us back around two hundred dollars. This author would go again for a special occasion anytime. The evening was as special as my company.
